Nana Mouskouri
https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...62ea60a0f6.jpg This one is for my dear departed Dad. Whenever she came on the telly he'd be hunting around for something to chuck at the screen. |
Advertising curtains for a national retailer? Fashion sense=0/10 (Seventies chic though)

Time Out magazine.
Looked through the current issue at the dentist today. Someone had probably left it behind, and I can understand why. What load of bollocks - most of pretentious to boot. This issue had an unhealthy fixation with Vegans. Clothes and shoes, as well as food. Is this always the case? |
The sudden emergence and massive overuse of the words 'toxic' and 'poisonous' on these boards to describe the atmosphere at Selhurst.

More speaker phone moaning. On a quiet single decker bus yesterday, a woman having a loud call, naturally holding the phone in the style seen in the Apprentice was trying too hard to sound important. At the very next stop a good 20 people piled on, thus cramping her style immediately, and she decided to shut the **** up

Chasing after the dogs to retrieve whatever they are fighting over in the garden from their mouth. Knowing that it is normally a dead bird or something equally horrid, and in the pitch black.
They didnt disappoint as i reached in an removed a dried poo they had so joyfully been fighting over. FFS |

Why on earth don't you just teach it to wipe its arse when it's finished. I bet the inconsiderate sod just leaves the skid marks on the U-bend afterwards.

Wankers vs Scousers news stories. Couldn't give a **** about either mid table team so the endless press in London news print is tedious as ****.

When you go to make a card payment at a petrol station, and the first thing the chip and pin machine says is "Charity Donation 25p? YES/NO"
No clue as to even what charity it is for! Piss off! |
When you park your car in a Croydon street and they've removed the coin machines, but not got the phone payment replacements working yet.
Maybe I could have parked for free, but i didn't want to take the risk. |
The fact that I've just had to pay over £200 to have our cat put to sleep. We've lost a truly marvellous cat who had real empathy and had to pay through the nose for the privilege

How come the bill was so high? Did the cat have treatment first, or did you have an emergency appointment outside office hours which would significantly raise the bill? |

That new(ish) BBC red screen that pops up on HD because it is beyond their ability to broadcast regional news in HD. It used to be quite relaxing; hippos swimming round in circles, that sort of thing. Now it's some awful shoutie harridan performing keep fit, or some such nonsense.
I guess the idea is to get you to retune as quickly as possible before the TV gets an object thrown at it. If that is their intention it works well, but when my regional news is presented by the grinning smarmfest that is Nick Owen, then it usually means the end of BBC viewing for the evening. |

If it's not the shouty harridan its a load of saggy bodies appearing from the water that's enough to put you off your dinner. |
Gout. 3 bottles of red wine and a daube of beef and it still won't go away. Fuc#ing thing.

apart from Royal correspondents as mentioned above and Michael Gove, and of course the vile rag called the daily Mail a growing number of horribly overused football clichés - ' bite your hand off being one, worked his socks off another and headlines trying to be too clever with wordplays 'Delectable' being another attempt to describe Dele Ali goals.

The whole reason I ordered it with your company was so they would send delivery drivers to carry it up the stairs. |
