Rashford. If he has the cheek to appear in the press for non football reasons again he needs to be shot.

Fairweather England 'fans' who don't follow football for a second saying how proud they are yadda yadda yadda.
**** off mate, we lost...I'm 46 years old and have now lost 2 FA Cup Finals & a Euro final. You have no idea. |

Seen a few post here and there (not on this site) already about "great game", "exciting stuff", "best team won" etc., etc.. Like you, I'm not sure what I'll see first... England win a tournament of Palace's new stand gets built. (I did see the '66 World Cup, but that was kind of the fuse that lit the fire for my football passion) |

To be fair I'm harsh on Rash, done lots of good for the working class kids but he's a absolute wanker for that Penalty.

I think the casual football fan who really only come out of the woodwork to support England are showing their true colours on Facebook.
I hate to say it, but most of them (nay all of them) are women. Their insipid and puke inducing girly comments are really annoying at this time... I'll get over it. |

F*ck off. He, Sancho and Saka have already achieved more than you ever will, and you'll never know of or be in a situation like he was tonight. So shove your stupid f*cking opinion up your dickhead f*cking arse, you c*nt |

By comparison, missing a penalty in a football match (even one as significant as this one) is really of no great consequence. I hope he continues with the excellent work he's been doing, and (in terms of playing for England at least, I can't bring myself to wish anyone well while playing for Man Utd.) comes back stronger on the pitch for the experience he has had |
I'd take Rashford getting hungry kids fed over scoring a penalty every single time

Twitter and similar likes.
For allowing racist and truly offensive comments to be made unchallenged and allowing spread of misinformation like the video of England fans fighting other England fans trying to break through the Wembley gates and claiming it was England fans attacking Italians. I'm shocked at the attention its getting and people believing it and spreading it onwards to the extent people are calling for England to be banned from future tournaments. And twitter have not challenged this or taken anything down allowing it to spread. Time these platforms were taking down immediately until they sort their **** out as its causing more divde in society. Its unhealthy. |
The use of the word pant-wetter. Another one straight out of the playground where it was stupid in the first place. Right up there with so and so smells. Taking the intellectual high ground huh ?

Crap, budget template TV show filler, consisting of a z-list celeb or two, travelling around the country on a road trip and having hi-jinks.
Ricky Tomlinson and Ralph Little's Very Northern Road Trip. Gordon Gino and Fred's Road Trip. Bruno Tonioli's Great British Road Trip. Rosie Jones' Great British Adventure. Freddie Flintoff's Chip Van British Tour. Susan Calman's Secret Scotland. Susan Calman's Grand Days out. Susan Calman's Grand Week by the Sea. Youth Hosteling with Chris Eubank. I know theres been a global pandemic on recently but come on. Have some fresh ideas FFS. |
Small vein vascular dimentia. Like many on here I am sure, we are getting all too close a view on this ******d right now as my good lady’s sister continues to deteriorate all too quickly. Horrible s****y illness makes her live through her worse nightmares as if they were real. Can’t say how awful this thing is and how distressing it is for her and of course her loved ones as she lives this stuff. Rant over, sorry, but it’s been a bad day for her.

Has anyone mentioned Joe Wilson, the BBC Sports correspondent ?
I couldn't care how much I love football, cricket or any other sport, I really have to mute this reporter and his nuanced (all about me rather than the events) way of reporting. Drives me mad. |

I find a quick word, and if the focus of attention doesn't change than you never go back. I admit that approach doesn't get me fed or watered in Chile. But I cn fill myself up with the glow of taking a stand. |
Do you not have a Libro de Reclamaciones system in Chile?
I find it a wonderful threat to useless staff, especially when I found out that it's an official document and copies of the complaint get a sent to the Ayuntamiento |

Ford Ranger pick up trucks being driven by people as a leisure vehicle (as oppose to a work vehicle) - they seem so oversized. A mum drops her two kids off at the local gymnastics group in one and it doesn't fit in a normal parking space and it's so big I think she could mow down a group of the kids and probably not even notice as their heads barely clear the top of the bonnet.

Not an annoyance but mor of an observation, and related to the travelling around the UK theme. I have caught a couple of episodes of the travel show on BBC World. Both very interesting, one was at the Pembrokeshire coast and the other in Yorkshire starting at Scarborough ( I think). Both shows very interesting, but I was interested in the two hosts.
One was a black guy in a wheelchair and the other a young black woman. Both were more than adequate hosts, and the guy was infectiously social. But, I found it interesting that BBC seemed to be filling its quotas. They even drive around in a modern, electric version of a Hillman. |

Companies who think they are so big they can screw their customers.
Samsung owe me £260, my company owe me £150as i was underpaid and to top it off Thames water who now say i owe them £640 for my water for the last 18 months. The thing is for the last twelve years with no change in circumstances it has normally been about £210 for 18 months.Last time six months ago i disputed it with them, they threatened me with a debt collection agency. And they wonder why people get stressed. |

Peter, I know where you are truly coming from on this but unfairly took the opportunity to twist it around. Its only a couple of years since we fell out and although our ideals have changed at a different pace I hope we can nonetheless get back to proper conversation and swapping dodgy websites, as we did, some 20 years ago |
Agree with the above. Seen the bloke in the wheel chair, think he is pretty good. A lot better than some of the names that do travel shows. Robson Green I'm looking at you.

EDIT - I apologize to you LF in similar fashion to what I said to Wolfie below. The whole world has moved on in the last 20 years or so, and whilst I am well up to speed with that, such was not evident from my recent postings. Similar considerations to Hong Kong HG, Brighton and the others, although I am sure that I will still be taking you all on over the coming years |
