One of you Spanish or Chilean fans will have to do a Spanish language translation of Palace chants. I was in my usual pub in Spain a few years ago and they were having a sing along (no strong English speakers in the bar that night). I was asked to sing a song. After a few beers I tried to sing “Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner” in Spanish.

Probably te he sort of bellend that, when all the black players in our team are pointed out to him, will respond "they don't count, they're ours".

Does make you wonder if it was a regular supporter as you would think that racism is something you don’t switch on and off and that he would have done it before. First few games there seem to have been a fair few awayday supporters asking the way to the ground.

There seems to be a rise in the amount of people eating stuff from the shelves whilst still shopping. Woman in the supermarket today eating a pasta salad whilst wandering the isles and the other day found empty sweet packets left on shelves. I assume most people would scan the empty packet at the checkout but this wouldn't work at self service due to the lack of weight. I have enough problem with people and their wayward shopping trolleys let alone them having lunch at the same time.

Not me I had two older brothers so I could pinch whatever they had lying around. If I was lucky they had Aramis rather than Brut/Old spice/Hai karate they had from various Christmas or Birthday presents.

Still do that regularly passing through the Duty Free shop on the way into work or when in departures getting food (not for the evening on the pull bit). Unfortunately not allowed to do it with the whisky samples being offered.

Shame about the whiskey samples :)

Can you not have one on the way out ? And also be under the legal limit to drive home.

PS: I am not suggesting you should start doing that, just a joke

From Old English gietan also "ill-gotten gains". Also, a lot of Murcan spelling is far more sensible than what we have here e.g. meter or gram. Fall is more evocative than Autumn but the latter is possibly one of the few English words derived from the Etruscan language so it's OK.

Lions poo, you can get from the zoo, but in reality you don’t want a toilet on your doorstep, you may feel you moved to Kent or something.

I see a lot near me put some sort of them ultrasonic deterrent that emits some high pitched noise and drives the fox away. Worth looking into it

This actually doesn't just annoy me, it makes me absolutely f*cking furious:

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world...35c1558d&ei=43

When I was driving through a part of the New Forest earlier in the summer, we were tailgated by a twat in a Mercedes who was blasting his horn and flashing his lights because I was keeping to the speed limit and he couldn't get past. When he eventually overtook his passengers gave it large with the wanker signs.

I just responded with a few choice expletives that quite shocked the wife but I know she agreed with. To see that news item is so upsetting because it's c*nts like him who do it and don't give a crap.

Hearing Andy Jacobs talk about Chelsea on Talksport was quite interesting. He's clearly been around the block and seen them at their best and worst and is totally baffled by what is happening. £1bn spent and no striker and the guy on the bench is a 17 year old Brazillian. They are pinning a lot on Broja who will surely take time to come back from a serious injury. As he pointed out they could have bought Osimhen for £150m but instead bought 3 defensive midfield players

Even worse is a fair few horror films come out each year about influencers and the like. The good news is most don’t make it out in the end.

Trying to buy what I would have called a cheap runaround car.

1. No one seems to sell privately any more
2. Autotrader - 90%+ dealers and wildly varying prices by 1000+
3. Galactic miles 2007 cars advertised on faceache for 1500+
4. Faceache marketplace false stop
5. eBay 90% traders same wildly varying prices
6. **** all on Gumtree within 15 miles except the same dealers selling the same shit!

I can remember getting in the newsagents early doors Thursday mornings for the Autotrader and E&M packed with private sellers.

Does everyone Part Ex now or Lease, and wtf is the pricing all about!?

Example 20 year old Citroen Xsara 1.6i "features include" Cassette deck 80k almost 2000 quid!

Was just thinking this. They can’t get away with the greenwashing ads any more so now they are trying to pretend that their crappy petrol stations are some kind of essential service holding communities together with their bad coffee and overpriced groceries.

It's gone the way of comedy. The naturally creative types are scared of offending that section of society who wake up in the morning and prowl through social media to see what can offend them.
Pre-cancellation days, the creators only had to deal with a few old drunken film critics who could be bought off with a bottle of gin. Also the old dears who would call up the Beeb when someone said 'bloody,' and of course the disgruntled Mr. Angry from Streatham Hill who would frequently pen off to the local paper complaining that one of the 'Carry on ' girls wasn't wearing a brassiere underneath her woolen polo neck.
Unfortunately, the height of modern day creativity seems to be the ability of an 18 year old German kid to design showers and televisions that anyone over the age of 40 will have absolutely no idea how to figure out.

Back in the day there was only one commercial TV channel and I guess it was very expensive airtime that made the cost of the advert itself a smaller proportion of the total campaign costs and there was an element of pride to make the best piece of work possible.

Nowadays there are so many channels that putting any old piece of crap together and getting it on air seems to be the priority.
