I thought that was going to be Kindle to Phins. With Kindle bitching Light/Vollmer for years.

Jets should take Kyle Wilson to add another beast to the Secondary.

We've got Springs and Wilhite competing for time.

It wasn't a need.

We have two OLB's who suck.

Mort says the pick is great because he can play Special Teams. Yeah, that's what you pick in the first round.

Didn't say it was what you needed just saying he's a good player. Kindle would have been a good fit.

SteveyHawking 23-04-2010 04:35 AM

J-E-T-S. Kinda hoped Wilson would have dropped to us at 37th. Was never gonna happen.

pauldrulez 23-04-2010 04:39 AM

Wilson should have been gone a long time ago.

We should just send a 2nd to the Skins and get Haynesworth and go 4-3 with Big Vince and Fat Albert in the middle. Try running on us.

What about Ginn... oh yeh :D

pauldrulez 23-04-2010 04:43 AM

:D

Hey, you trade 5th round picks for a guy like that ;)

pauldrulez 23-04-2010 04:44 AM

Lions trading up.

Taking Jahvid Best.

SteveyHawking 23-04-2010 04:45 AM

Lions trading back into the 1st for Best. They're slowly but surely getting better.

pauldrulez 23-04-2010 04:46 AM

I really like that pick for Detroit. A dumpoff option for Stafford.

LLCOOLSTEVE 23-04-2010 04:48 AM

So Clausen could fall to Carolina at this rate :D

pauldrulez 23-04-2010 04:48 AM

Going back to the Pats pick.

I've decided to sleep on it (wuss etc), and wait and see what we do with our 3 2nd rounders.

What, in the 4th round? ;)

Colt McCoy or Clausen, who goes first?

SteveyHawking 23-04-2010 04:53 AM

Eagles will go for Mays or Allen with the 37th. We need a corner but the depth is there for safety which is another big need.

SteveyHawking 23-04-2010 04:58 AM

Pretty pleased with the Graham pick up. Similar to Trent Cole so he won't be double-teamed all the time. With Ernie Sims in at WILL as well the defense is looking better.

Secondary still needs some work.

SteveyHawking 23-04-2010 05:04 AM

First round done.

pauldrulez 23-04-2010 05:05 AM

Here's my best available list before I sleep:
1. Jimmy Clausen
2. Sergio Kindle
3. Sean Weatherspoon
4. Everson Griffen
5. Rodger Saffold
6. Terrence Cody
7. Golden Tate
8. Taylor Mays (wow, he'd have been a top 10 pick last year)
9. Brian Price
10. Bruce Campbell

Night peeps

Well they couldn't get any worse...

Weatherspoon went at 19 to Atlanta. Some very solid players left. Reckon the 2nd round could be pretty interesting.

I don't see it, he seems really stiff and slow to me to play OLB. Would have been happy to see Atlanta trade up to get Morgan or trade down. Or take Jerry Hughes. There's still a ton of defensive players out there that had great college careers that didn't please the scouts for whatever reason. Too bad the Falcons don't have a 2nd round pick.

jazman 23-04-2010 09:55 AM

First time in years that the Cowboys have had some excitement in the first round. Quite pleased with that pick as while most fans were quite happy with our WRs I think that one more would have given more options, and that's what has happened. Relatively pleased but Golden Tate is the man I had read we had interest in initially but was suggested as never going in the first round. I think we have three picks left now after trading up for Bryant.
