Cardinals trading with Pats to get Clausen...

pauldrulez 24-04-2010 01:14 AM

I've still got 4 first round players left on my board.

And my 2 favourite Receivers still there.

Or Daryl Washington.

I think Pats are going to go after Taylor Mays. Intriguing athlete.

Negative

Jimmy Clausen.

Dropped from a top 5 pick to #48.

That is tens of millions of dollars he has lost there.

LLCOOLSTEVE 24-04-2010 01:22 AM

But he gets to throw to Steve Smith, maybe.

pauldrulez 24-04-2010 01:23 AM

It's taken 75 minutes to get halfway through this round. Time has flown by.

Wonder if Niners take McCoy?

pauldrulez 24-04-2010 01:24 AM

There goes Taylor Mays.

Will be interesting to see what Singletary does with him.

SteveyHawking 24-04-2010 01:25 AM

Mays to the 49ers. Could be an inspired pick or a huge bust.

I was wondering the same, but in Alex Smith we trust...

I like Smith. Was on BBC for the Superbowl.

Nice guy, has turned his life around since the death of his friend.

He came across really well on the Superbowl coverage. He was starting to look the part at times last season and I reckon the 49ers will be a decent outfit next year.

pauldrulez 24-04-2010 01:31 AM

Golden Tate still around.

Damien Williams still around.

Please Bill. Get one of these if they are there.

I think it was the Wembley game last year, the Niners were 21-0 down and brought Smith in. He then threw 3 TD's to Vernon Davis to bring them level.

pauldrulez 24-04-2010 01:34 AM

Vikings coming up.

Think this could be a breakthrough year for Smith. He looked a different player when he came in at the back end of last season. A full year with Crabtree as his go to guy...could be a nice combo.

pauldrulez 24-04-2010 01:36 AM

Gerhart?

Blargh.

Not a 2nd rounder. More a 4th round FB.

SteveyHawking 24-04-2010 01:37 AM

Gerhart is a beast. Him and Peterson will wear the crap out of teams.
