It would have been 2 lots of the cheapest tickets.

Or I would have chosen between the 2.

I think a lot of people would choose one or the other.

However if you were waiting to see which teams were coming over for the second game...

I'm still inclined to think they'll put a game in another country before sending a second game here. Given how well the European league was supported in Germany I'm surprised it hasn't gone there.

Algeria 3-2 Ivory Coast - much more interesting football :D

Agreed. I do wonder whether the one game a year would be enough anyway ... in that way the novelty factor is kept ...

Swanny32 24-01-2010 09:51 PM

Im kind of happy there is no second game, what with mine and Ardeo's trip to the Linc I'm not sure I'd be able to afford to go to the second game and would really want to.

jazman 24-01-2010 09:53 PM

Wide right. Cue Colts.

Swanny32 24-01-2010 09:56 PM

Has anyone been to NYC on here?

pauldrulez 24-01-2010 09:57 PM

Manning is trying to stretch the field too much now IMO.

He's throwing into tight coverage a lot of the time.

Gotta be careful he doesn't try it against Revis...

Swanny32 24-01-2010 09:57 PM

And is it expensive, i.e. hotels and food etc

Yea i agree, had a quality day out last time, if there were 2 games, not sure it would be quite as good, or would want to spend so much time + money on both days.

Out of interest how different has the tailgate party been each year, or was this year the first year?

peagle 24-01-2010 10:01 PM

Peyton, I like the way you move (the ball on that drive)!

jazman 24-01-2010 10:01 PM

I was looking at NYC prices when planning what I need for a couple of years time but saw that it was quite expensive. Maybe cheaper for us to go to Dallas I thought ...

pauldrulez 24-01-2010 10:12 PM

Colts are stepping it up on D.

Freeney and Mathis are starting to burst off the edge.

I'll be going on Virgin Atlantic when I go.

For some reason, I'm entranced by their TV advert whenever it's on.

Strathclyde Eagle 24-01-2010 10:13 PM

Think this game still has a twist in it somewhere.

Can't imagine why ;) Only time I've flown with them it was sadly disappointing! Go BA when I'm crossing the pond usually.

I was just wondering as we are going to make the trip over to NYC from Philly in September. Was wondering how much things were round there i.e going to the top of the statue of liberty

Spot the person not alive during the 1980s. :D

Think it makes it look overly dated actually. Don't remember people dressing like that in the mid 80s. Early 80s maybe. Of course that's assuming that advertising is like documentary making, which it isn't.

peagle 24-01-2010 10:15 PM

I have never bothered going to the top of the statue. Have to queue and do security checks for over 2 hours apparently.

Top of the Statue of Liberty is apparently not worth going to. Might even still be shut, I'm not sure.

From what I've heard NYC is very expensive, but sadly that's all second-hand opinion.
