Yep, definitely a possible scenario... and on the part I've emboldened, this is where we can consider that power and money can be seen, to some degree, as synonymous.

This is exactly why the well known phrase "the love of money is the root of all evil" is so often (mis)quoted and seldom understood; because the value of money is arbitrary, not inherent, but it delivers something very tangible for those who have (too) much of it - power.

Every issue we have here, from prorogation of parliament to birthday cake is about the power of control; which requires as much money as they can get their grubby little hands on.

Laughable if the guy from the DUP hadn't already said that the protocol was increasing prices to families in NI and costing businesses £1bn a year.

Johnson never thought that when we negotiated this deal it would cause so many problems. He should have read the agreement and listened to the experts.
