Soul band called Tower of Power. I'd never heard of them until tonight. Sitting at the hotel bar in Sacramento before the Depeche Mode gig here tomorrow, got chatting to the guy sitting next to me and his mrs. Mostly talking about music software and life in general before he started talking about some of their gigs etc and how he plays the Hammond organ in the band. Name's Roger, and a thoroughly nice bloke, so when I got back to the room looked them up. Didn't realise how well known he is / they are until then. When I get back to Aus will give them a proper listen.
