Not bad at all, the England U17 squad announced on 21 March will may well include some of our young U18 squad too.
That is excellent. We may have bought the latter three in, but shows we have a good eye for young and hungry talent from these isles.

Congrats to them both though, great achievement!
On the plus side, if it wasn't the case then we'd only have one keeper in contention, so, i'm happy

You’d hope that there is a target for a full 90 for Ferguson against Liverpool. 45, 63, 62, 77 minutes so far.

With Paddy now integrated into the first team staff for the rest of the season. Darren Powell is now leading the U21s for the rest of the season.

No return of the Derry just yet!

Jemide back in the England U17 squad, would imagine Kporha misses out due to injury:

So Goodman is playing a year above Whitworth? Interesting. And generally great that we have so much representation.

As someone posted above somewhere - Goodman is 3 mths older and that pushes him into the higher age group.

sure, but if they thought he was good enough he'd play up surely?

Squad was probably selected before Whitworth made his debut and Goodman had been playing most of the U21 games so maybe it was decided based on that.

I think the answer would depend on what other keepers are available and how both are rated vs each other and what they are trying to achieve. One answer is certainly that Joe could play up but this way both are representing England.

No idea what they think - just, as you say, glad that we have 2 excellent keepers with high potential.

I think the Liverpool game is the international cup game as we have already played them away in the league and those are not broadcast live.

I have been thinking for a while now that the academy is 2-3 years from having potential players ready for the first team and seeing so many in teams younger than u21 seems to suggest I am on the right track.
