The parade in NYC was better than the ones I’ve seen in London and Dublin but the locals were getting well stuck into the alcohol before hand, Guinness with whiskey chasers at ten in the morning and the bars were all packed, there’s going to be some struggling going on later tonight (it’s only ten to eight as I write this)

I was New Orleans about 30 years ago on St. Patricks day and it was full of pissed up Americans trying to be "Oirish".

Was in Lanzarote about 5yrs ago Puerto de Carmen absolutely turned green. The atmosphere was fantastic all day.
