Brian Moore,s director was a guy called Bob Gardam who lived down here in the New Forest
Told some great stories
My favourite was he covered a very dour Spurs match and was bursting for a pee. So went to the toilet and they missed the only goal of the game. The next week the production team presented him with a potty to use

I remember Danny Bakers story of the Millwall fans taking his rickety old ladder down while he was on the gantry at the old den

This Saturday (25/11) is from 16 August 1980 so imagine that they'll feature our opening day defeat to Liverpool. On itv4 at 10:30.

Watched one over the weekend, didn't see any Palace games but Steve Perrin got 5th place in the Golden Goal of the season for 77/78 (I think it was) and Nicky Chatterton in 6th and final place.

Remember going to that game
Never dreamed things were going to go that bad that season ok we had lost sansom but didn't think it would send us into free fall .
Remember few months earlier think it was near end of previous season we played at arsenal and realy looked comfortable think it was 1 1 and we missed a penalty what a difference 3 months made .

Yeah, I remember that 1-1 at Highbury. Think it was Gerry Francis who had his pen saved, probably by Pat Jennings.

Indeed - this was with Flanagan and Allen up front. Played like them, too.

Vennerballs excuses starting up ready for the defection.
