R5 Live made it sound like Clazaghe failed to show his class by getting sucked into a different sort of fight tonight. I rate him but has he missed his chance at his age - not many big fights left in him?

I dunno, he looked ok, he's just too liable to getting pi**ed off when he gets hit. he should go straight for this Danish guy, take the two remaining belts and then retire.

Was a good fight - shame about the headbutting though.

Like to see him fight Kessler next, then move up to light-heavy.

Enjoyed the fight. Calzaghe was by far the superior boxer but i have to admit i enjoyed watching him stand toe to toe with Saiko. Would be nice to see Calzaghe take the belts off Kessler then take out Hopkins (if he can be persuaded out of retirement).

I cant help but feel unifying the division would cement his place in history more than a past it Hopkins tbh.

I agree with you both. The Kessler fight would benefit his career more however to really be considered a great he needs more "big names". Hopkins can give him this and will be a massive draw in the states (that Kessler won't) and lead to other big names. Also i think Hopkins would be a great fight.

Depends. If he graves recognition in the UK, then become an undisputed world champion will achieve that. If he cares about what the americans think, then Hopkins will suffice. I hope he sees sense, disposes of Kessler and give his hands a chance for the rest of his life and reitre the best UK boxer in my life time

I think theres a chance for him to achieve both aims. It doesnt seem to be in his plans to retire anytime soon as he's already talking about getting 25 successful title defences so fingers crossed.

Mayweather v Baldomir Predictions!
For me this'll go one of two ways - a Baldomir KO or Mayweather on points... I'm leaning to the latter. He won't have the power to knock Baldomir out but he's skillful enough to carry the fight.

Mayweather eighth round stoppage. Baldomir is made for him. A come forward fighter with slow hands.

Was away in Dubai for the weekend so missed the Mayweather fight but saw the result. Does anyone know how Alex Arthuir got on though?
