We have no idea what money is required though tbf, Juventus are in a really weak negotiating position which is only getting weaker as we approach the end of the window. I still trust the club on this one.

If Palace are required to pay him 100k a week then it goes back to the old ways of last season and beyond. We are not paying players that much at the moment and all the new players who came in are probably on 60k or less (except Eduoard) and they probably don't want to go down that path so soon. If we could get him for 80k a week then I expect we would be interested.

The saga continues, but were we ever truly interested? as from all accounts there has never been any contact or transfer discussions that we are aware of. So i assume this is someone putting 2 plus 2 due to the Arsenal connection plus Roberts and these rumours sprung up. Personally i dont hold out any hopes.

Ridiculous. The squad, management and ownership wasnt good enough that season. We were a 1st Division side vastly improved by Lombardo.

In that first season we won three league games with Lombardo playing and three without him.

He was a fantastic player who I loved watching but he is the last player I’d have used to justify that post of yours!
