I noticed that too in the Guardian’s latest ‘fans rate the season’ piece - she talks a lot about Wilf. Still hurting from the play offs, clearly. It’s pretty funny how much he gets under their skin!

Money, tickets, passports and we were off to run the gauntlet of south London. It felt like all of Brighton was on edge on Friday, going out to Palace would be unspeakable, unthinkable – we'd rather have finished seventh. Yet in the first half Brighton were exquisite – Leo Ulloa (whom we all adore) ran his socks off, Liam Bridcutt took charge in midfield and how did Dean Hammond fail to head home? In the second half, as Palace found their feet and Wilfried Zaha woke up, the atmosphere in that shabby old cauldron of a stadium was even more raw. It was exhausting, and few Brighton tears were shed when Glenn Murray was carried off. But on the packed train home, after 2,000 travelling fans had been held in the street by hundreds of police and "kettled" along to Norwood Junction, the mood was upbeat. It's ours to lose at the Amex; we're planning our day at Wembley.
Terrific find.

‘Planning our day at Wembley’. Incredible thing to say, let alone write for public consumption.

Sadly her plans were ruined and she spent the day in Stephfincham instead. Thrashing about down there thinking of Wilf.

I remember at HT at home in the playoffs turning to my mate in the Holmesdale and saying "I'd take a draw here today then going to the Amex and ruining their party".

Of course the pundits won't going to let that happen. Then the media won't going to allow us to beat darling Zola's Watford either.

Ha! Silly cow. Still, I like the ‘It’s ours to lose at the Amex’ line. Finally, a Brighton fan with enough foresight to realise that we always come out on top.

That cut very deep with the weeds, more so than the tekkers winner. That’s why we saw the total over reaction to the equaliser the other week. They wanted us to feel the same pain but we shrugged it off , they cant

Yeah, not really self sufficient if you've used your parents fame to get magazine interviews and on the telly

That quote from the bouncer, ‘I’ve seen the likes of Brooklyn Beckham, but you buck the trend.’

Imagine comparing Fat Boy Slim to David Beckham, celebrity status wise.
