Sure . Need 4 centre backs.. just unclear from Rob Holdings view why he would want a move from being Arsenal s fourth centre back to being palaces 4th centre back. Trying to second guess what if and when Guehi and Anderson might leave will keep us fixated no doubt over the next 2 windows.

Holding was Arsenal’s 6th choice after they signed Kiowor in January and Timber in the summer and Tomiyasu can play as a CB if necessary as well.

Just how good he might be will only be tested when he is playing regular football. He has only played a full game 5 times all last year and interestingly they only won one of them. Think they will loan him out for regular game time and for us, he just needs to be better than Edouard or Mateta.

I am dubious of strikers in the Bundersliga when suggesting they may do well in the PL. Harry Kane's 17 in 11 games shows the difference.

I agree with you. 24 goals and 5 assists in 67 games, 4549 minutes was Mateta's record in that league.

There will be a clamour for Serhou Guirassy who is just behind Harry Kane in the scoring charts but scoring in that league doesn't always translate to scoring in the PL.

It is partly why i think they will loan him out because they need to see what he can do and they are not giving him the game time.

My question would be whether there would be any consideration to a buy option in any loan. I think he could suit us but as you say, the move from 1 league to another is not always easy.

I assumed Murphy was a youngster. Not sure why. Turns out he’s 28.

He’s also currently out with a reoccurrence of a shoulder injury - so is perfect for us.

another one that DF has been tracking since he was a youngster.

A squad player at best I would have thought- not going to turn my nose up at anyone right now but doesn't feel like a step forward to me.
